Look closely at this print and you'll keep finding things — a fish here, a deer there, little elephants and spirals stamped into neat blocks across a warm sandal base. It's the kind of fabric that rewards a second look, and the black pleated yoke gives it a sharpness that stops it from feeling too folksy.
The fabric is block printed and light, which is the whole point in Kerala weather. It's cut A-line to 47 inches so it moves away from the body as you walk. The round neck sits on a softly pleated black yoke, sleeveless with a fine picot lace edging around the armholes, and there are pockets in the side seams. Nothing scratchy, nothing that needs adjusting through the day.
