Indigo this deep doesn't need much help, but the hearts give it some. Soft white ones are scattered loosely across a dashed white grid, each with the slightly uneven edge that comes from hand block printing. Up close, the lines look like running stitches. From a distance, it reads as a clean, easy check.
The cotton is light and breathable, and it falls to 47 inches. A shirt collar opens into a V placket, the 3/4th sleeves gather into a neat cuff, and the back yoke falls into soft gathers, so the dress hangs loose rather than clinging. It has slits on both sides for easy walking, and pockets. No lining.
